Very slow waiting for an hour for our food. Won't come back again
It was a dark and dismal evening when me and my partner visited here.. The place was and still is in the middle of no where (burgess hill for ya gotta love it). I hadn't booked a table and was told there was a 20 minute wait which turned into a 10 minute wait by time we got a drink and went on fruit machine. The decor inside the place is outstanding and the toilets in excellent clean condition. The staff friendly and the food was nice.The service received was good. Didn't feel pressured or feel unwelcome and when my egg was cooked wrong they happily delivered a fresh sunny side up egg. Plenty of parking outside. I would happily recommend as one of the nicer beefeater that I have eaten at.
This is my first time in a beefeater in my whole 36 year life and I was pleasantly suprised the decor was very inviting, the kitchen was on full show so means nothing to hide. Staff work very hard and looked a little over worked which is why i gave 4 instead of 5. Had starter main and desert.
Fairly standard Beefeater. Decent food and reasonable price. One of the gammon orders came with egg despite being requested without. They then asked if that was an allergy (if was) clearly indicating they intended to just scrape it off if it wasn't. Otherwise, good meal though
Only given one star because I had to.. We waited 15min at the 'please wait to be seated' sign and no one came lots of waiters and waitresses walked past and just seemed to ignore us. It wasn't very busy in there! We left but it would have been nice for just someone to say 'we be with you in a minute' just a small acknowledgement would have been nice. My advice just don't bother there are plenty of other nice places to eat in Burgess hill.
