Splendid portions, great taste. I'd give it six stars if I could.
Best fish and chips I've had for ages!
Hadnt visited this place for a very long time as the other end of town for us. What a complete waste of time, effort and good money. It ruined my Saturday night dinner without cooking and I feel very let down. The fish, despite being fresh, was bland, and the batter was flat, pale and soft; no crispy fluffy bits whatsoever. The chips were even worse and we couldnt eat them; the whole lot of chips went in the bin. They had clearly been refried (not in the new trendy, nice way) and were as dry as sticks. All in all Id rate them 3/10. We wont be returning again; what a shame.
Regularly customer and the staff are always friendly, but unfortunately the fish quality hasn't been that good lately. Might be just a temporary supplier thing, but needs improvement, will give it one more try in the next couple of weeks and then amend the review accordingly.
I would like to thank the people at Fishers on behalf a group of fourteen people, for a very enjoy evening in their resturant. The food was very good, the staff couldn't have been nicer or more obliging. I highly recommend Fishers for a group booking.
