I went to this Halfords and bought a roofrack and some bike-carrying stuff. When I got home it turned out that the fixing points on my car were too rusted for the roofrack to be mounted. The staff at Halfords confirmed this and then gave me a full refund even though I'd already assembled the multi-kit roofrack. What's more, everyone I dealt with there - the guy who sold us the stuff in the first place, the woman on the phone, the guy who looked the stuff over and the woman who did the refund - was incredibly helpful and pleasant to deal with. So my roofrack plan was foiled by corrosion, but I came away very impressed by the staff at the Burgess Hill Halfords.
Just had a roof box fitted and bought a electric cooler box. Excellent service and very reasonable price. The guy that carried out the process was helpful, friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Thoroughly pleasant experience.
Bike store help/advise rubbish as usual....I was rudely & categorically told that a part in a particular size could not be purchased anywhere...went online & surprise surprise theres lots of them available! Good old Halfords.
Walked in to spend 1600 on a bike. I knew exactly what I wanted. It's a bargain for the spec, only available at Halfords. The staff were completely uninterested in helping. The young man basically shrugged his shoulders when I asked if it was in stock. "I don't think so" was the response and that was the end of our interaction. I will spend a little more in a shop that appreciates my custom.
Excellent service! I placed an order online and soon after I called the Burgess Hill store and asked if they had the balance bike I wanted in stock, which they did and I asked them if they could assemble it for me and they said that it wouldn't be a problem. I got a text message telling me it was ready an hour later which is what the guy I spoke to said. When I went to the store to collect it Mark help me to adjust the seat to suit and also hepled me to put the bell on the bike. This is what I call an excellent service especially on a Saturday (usually a very busy day and not all staff are this helpful) Thanks for being so helpful Mark!
